What is your legal advice dog bit my daughter
Q : My daughter was bit by a pit bull on the back of her leg, by a school mate/friend of hers dog at the friends home. I need too know if the friend and the parents are liable if I pursue a lawsuit. My daughter is familiar with the dog and the dog is familiar with her as well. My daughter was playing with the pit bull and teasing it, when it started chasing her around the back yard. She jumped on top of the dog house and was screaming the whole time, even while being chased around the back yard. It was hard, I'm told for the owner's to get hold of the dog. The pit has now been put too sleep. However I'm still considering pursuing a law suite for trauma, medical bill, and physical injury. Do I have a good case fact.
